IT for Good – Helping charities do more good with effective IT
IT for Good is a nonprofit on a mission to help the social sector with Information Technology best practices.
Charities cannot be expected to employ all the skills needed to maintain a modern IT environment or have budget for consultants.
Through skilled volunteers and a shared body of knowledge, we can improve IT performance across the sector – helping you do more good!

Our approach
Below is a summary of some challenges to achieving good IT, and what we can do about them.

This theory of change diagram is the combined result of charity sector analysis, discussions and experience. Further details on stakeholders, assumptions, evidence etc can be found in About US.
This site also details our four strategic programmes of work, and a growing library of content and resources to support IT best practice.
